Scenic City Chorale’s concert Sunday

The Scenic City Chorale will present “The Many Sounds of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. in Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road.

The free Christmas concert will include a variety of carols, traditiona­l favorites and two selections from popular movies.

The procession­al “Once in Royal David’s City” will be followed with “Lo, How A Rose E’er Blooming” and a “Christmas Glory Medley” that includes “And the Glory of the Lord” and “Glory to God” from Handel’s Messiah, “Gloria” by Vivaldi and “Gloria” by Mozart.

A Christmas medley by Ralph V. Williams includes “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Gloucester­shire Wassail” and the “Sussex Carol.” Also on the program will be “In the Bleak Midwinter,” “Silver Bells” and “The Christmas Waltz.”

An instrument­al ensemble will accompany the 65-voice Chorale.
