‘Our Neighbors’ introduces Ridgedale, Highland Park residents

Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise will host “Our Neighbors,” an exhibition of photos depicting residents of Ridgedale and Highland Park, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Amani Chattanooga, 420 S. Willow St. (See a slide show of select images at www.ChattanoogaNow.com.) Photographer William Johnson, who lives in Highland Park, captured the images at CNE’s quarterly “Know Your Neighbor” events, in which residents gather at a local restaurant or Hispanic grocery to eat and socialize, an effort by CNE to build community between new and longtime residents. Johnson says he was captivated by the diversity of age, life stage, culture, ethnicity and tenure of the residents he met. Admission to the reception is free. Call 423-756-6201 for more information.
