See Chat­tanooga Zoo trans­formed into a Christ­mas won­der­land when Hol­i­day Lights at the Zoo opens to the pub­lic on Fri­day, Dec. 7, at the zoo, 301 N. Holtz­claw Ave.

En­joy see­ing the zoo cov­ered in lights as you visit the an­i­mals and watch them open gifts. Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude hol­i­day- themed an­i­mal en­rich­ment pro­grams, let­ters to Santa, car­ol­ers, cookie dec­o­rat­ing, bingo, Hid­den Elf on the Shelf, or­na­ment craft­ing and sto­ry­time.

Ac­tiv­i­ties avail­able for ex­tra fee: snack carts, camel feed­ings, train rides and carousel rides. Photos with Santa are an ad­di­tional $7 per print.

Hol­i­days Lights at the Zoo will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Fri­days and Satur­days Dec. 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22.

Ad­mis­sion is $ 12 for adults, $8 for chil­dren and zoo mem­bers re­ceive 50 per­cent off ad­mis­sion prices.
