‘ Free Solo’ will fill Imax screen

Alex Honnold meets a couple of climbers as he rappels El Capitan’s Freerider route to practice the climb before his free solo attempt. “Free Solo” is a stunning portrait of climber Honnold as he prepares to achieve his lifelong dream: climbing the face of the 3,200-foot El Capitan in Yosemite National Park without a rope. The movie will be shown in the Imax Theater, 201 Chestnut St., at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Jan. 11-12; 6 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, Jan. 13-17. Tickets are $15.95 adults, $12.95 children.
