Directed by Richard Henson, adjunct professor of music at Southern, the concert will feature music by Hans-Gunter Broadmann, Christopher Deane, Eckhard Kopetzki, Steve Snowden and Ivan Trevino.
Featured guest will be Shane Jones, director of percussion studies at the University of Tennessee at Martin. In addition to performing on Broadway as percussionist for the musical “1776,” he has performed in Brazil, China, Puerto Rico and West Africa.
