Tony Tone, D.J. Lewis bring the laughs to Comedy Catch

Tony Tone, aka Tony Luewellyn, headlines The Comedy Catch, 1400 Market St., for three shows tonight, Aug. 29, through Saturday, Aug. 31.

Tone is replacing Erik Griffin, who has been cast in a movie that is in production now, which caused him to reschedule.

The comedian/actor is known for his impression­s and comedy based on real life. He has appeared on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” BET’s “Comic View,” “Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

He will present one 7:30 show each night, and tickets are $10.

› D.J. Lewis returns to The Comedy Catch on Sunday, Sept. 1, where the local comic honed his style while building a loyal fan base.

He’ll be joined for a 7:30 p.m. show by comedian friends for a talent showcase. Tickets are $10.
