Late Night Laughs: Current events
Seth Meyers’ favorite jokes of the week (Sept. 16):
› Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer made his debut tonight on “Dancing With the Stars,” and Felicity Huffman is about to join the cast of “Orange Is the New Black.”
› During an event in South Carolina yesterday, Republican presidential challenger Mark Sanford held a mock debate against a cardboard cutout of President Trump. You can tell the cutout wasn’t the real Trump because it made some good points.
› Following her rally in New York last night, Sen. Elizabeth Warren spent four hours taking selfies with supporters. Meanwhile, Bernie [Sanders] took one selfie that lasted four hours because the camera was accidentally set to video.
› Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing criticism after a photo from 2001 surfaced in which he’s wearing brownface. I’m not gonna show you the picture because it’s really bad. It’s so bad that Canadians traveling in Europe are gonna start telling people they’re American.
