To borrow the lyrics in Lauren Alaina’s current single, “Getting Good,” her life is already good. In fact, it’s pretty sweet to be the country star right now.

Coming off an impressive fourth-place finish on “Dancing With the Stars,” she’s got a single with Hardy and Devin Dawson (“One Beer”) that’s getting a lot of radio love and is No. 32 on iTunes country singles chart and climbing. She’s got a duet with Dustin Lynch (“Thinking ‘Bout You”) on his new album, “Tullahoma,” the No. 13 record on iTunes’ country album chart.

She has a new EP, also titled “Getting Good,” coming out March 6, and she’s winding up her first headlining tour, “That Girl Was Me,” this weekend. The tour, which has sold out every show to date, stops in The Signal on Friday, Feb. 7, doubling as a fundraiser for US-101’s Concert For a Cause.

“I’m so excited to play this show at The Signal. There is so much Rossville in this set it’s not funny,” she said during a phone interview. “There is something about when I come back to Rossville … there is such a sense of peace in my soul. There’s nowhere like home.”

Alaina said her first headlining tour is a reflection of what she’s learned in almost 10 years of opening shows for some of country’s biggest names.

“I’ve gotten to see the best of the best … Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton. I’ve been on tour with my heroes and taken notes to be ready for this, so I can take what I learned from them and put it to use.”

She describes her show as “almost like a play in three acts: where I came from, things I’ve been through and the end is where I’m going and things I have achieved. I was specific about telling my whole story. I want people to leave feeling like they know me even more. A lot of who I am is Rossville and always will be.”

She opens her set with one of her new songs from the upcoming EP, “In My Veins.”

“The song lyrics talk about my life. I have home videos and all kinds of sweet stuff that
