Super Museum Sunday

Last Sunday was the Super Bowl; this coming Sunday is Super Museum Sunday, when six historic buildings in Whitfield and Murray counties will be open and offering free admission.

History buffs from around the region will want to visit North Georgia between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, to take part in this rare opportunit­y. Super Museum Sunday is sponsored by the Georgia History Festival, a project of the Georgia Historical Society.

Members of the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society will give tours of the properties. Come see a historic property you’ve been meaning to explore.
