Author and podcast host Annie Downs at City Church

Best-selling author and podcast host Annie Downs is coming to town to share the secret of how to love yourself and others more completely.

The Love Better Tour will stop at City Church on Sunday night, March 8, for an evening of humor, teaching by Jonathan Pokluda and worship by Cross Point Music.

Downs was a full-time teacher before she felt called to pursue a career in writing and speaking.

She is known for her hilarious, but honest, point of view. Her podcast, “That Sounds Fun,” has hosted favorite guests such as Tim Tebow, Max Lucado, Samantha Ponder, Sadie Robertson, Ann Voskamp and Danielle Walker.

She is the author of “Remember God,” “100 Days to Brave” and “Looking for Lovely.” Her books weave together personal stories, humor and scripture.

Presented by Compassion Live, the Love Better Tour focuses on relationships of all types. Attendees will leave with a deeper knowledge of what it means to be loved by God and how his love enables you to love yourself and others.
