Os­car-win­ning Sylvester Stal­loPe, 72, re­turns in the iconic role of Rocky Bal­boa in Creed II (Nov. 21). Rocky trains newly crowned cham­pion Ado­nis Creed (/ichael $ ,or­daP) to get into the ring with Vik­tor Drago (Flo­rian Mun­teanu), the son of Rocky’s archri­val Ivan Drago (Dolph Lund­gren). Here are wve facts about the na­tive New Yorker who, in ju­nior high, was voted “most likely to end up in the elec­tric chair.”

He be­came the third man in his­tory to re­ceive Os­car nom­i­na­tions for Best Orig­i­nal Screen­play and 3 Best Ac­tor for the same movie (Rocky), af­ter Char­lie ChaRliP and 1rsoP Welles.

Stal­lone oil paints and con­sid­ers Leonardo da Vinci to be his hero. His wrst eÝhi­bi­tion was held in Switzer­land in 2011.

Stal­lone was so broke be­foreRocky, he ap­peared in the soft­core porn fea­ture The Party at Kitty and Stud’s, which was later re­leased as Ital­ian Stal­lion.
