Lookouts first home stand continues through Sunday

Weather permitting, the Chattanoog­a Lookouts will continue their first home stand of the season at AT&T Field the rest of the week. The Lookouts take on the Birmingham Barons at 7: 15 p. m. today through Saturday, April 16-18, and at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, April 19.

Tonight’s promotions include a College Fair, featuring representa­tives from the University of Tennessee at Chattanoog­a, Chattanoog­a State and Lee University, and Twins Night, celebratin­g the team’s new affiliatio­n with the Minnesota Twins. It’s also Thirsty Thursday, with drink specials starting at $2.

Friday’s game will end with fireworks, weather permitting, and it’s Social Media Night, with trivia, contests and music requests throughout the game on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Saturday features the Zooperstar­s, the zany costumed characters named after famous athletes.

Sunday will be the first Dogs on the Diamond of the season. Activities include a pregame Pooch Parade, giveaways and the chance to have your dog’s photo displayed on the video board (submit photos to atainsh@lookouts.com). A ticket and Pooch Pass cost $ 10, with Pooch Pass proceeds going to McKamey Animal Center. It’s also SunTrust Sunday, where you can trade a canned good for a free general- admission ticket when you get to the game. Donations will go to the Chattanoog­a Area Food Bank. After the game, there’ll be a chance to play Catch on the Field, immediatel­y following Kids Run the Bases.

Box seats are $6 and $9. General-admission tickets are $ 5 for adults, $ 3 for seniors 55 and older and children 7-12.
