Lookouts first home stand continues through Sunday
Weather permitting, the Chattanooga Lookouts will continue their first home stand of the season at AT&T Field the rest of the week. The Lookouts take on the Birmingham Barons at 7: 15 p. m. today through Saturday, April 16-18, and at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, April 19.
Tonight’s promotions include a College Fair, featuring representatives from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Chattanooga State and Lee University, and Twins Night, celebrating the team’s new affiliation with the Minnesota Twins. It’s also Thirsty Thursday, with drink specials starting at $2.
Friday’s game will end with fireworks, weather permitting, and it’s Social Media Night, with trivia, contests and music requests throughout the game on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Saturday features the Zooperstars, the zany costumed characters named after famous athletes.
Sunday will be the first Dogs on the Diamond of the season. Activities include a pregame Pooch Parade, giveaways and the chance to have your dog’s photo displayed on the video board (submit photos to atainsh@lookouts.com). A ticket and Pooch Pass cost $ 10, with Pooch Pass proceeds going to McKamey Animal Center. It’s also SunTrust Sunday, where you can trade a canned good for a free general- admission ticket when you get to the game. Donations will go to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. After the game, there’ll be a chance to play Catch on the Field, immediately following Kids Run the Bases.
Box seats are $6 and $9. General-admission tickets are $ 5 for adults, $ 3 for seniors 55 and older and children 7-12.
