GEORGIA BULLDOGS
QUARTERBACK
Greyson Lambert followed his 96-percent accuracy performance against South Carolina with a 9-of-10 showing for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Brice Ramsey added 125 yards on 11-of-14 passing.
RUNNING BACKS
Nick Chubb rushed for 100 yards in the second half and finished with 131 on 15 carries. Sony Michel rushed for 77 yards on six carries, while Keith Marshall and Brendan Douglas combined for 66 on nine.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Malcolm Mitchell nearly had a second straight 100yard game, finishing with five catches for 96 yards and a 23-yard touchdown. Isaiah McKenzie added 74 yards on four receptions.
OFFENSIVE LINE
The Bulldogs finished with 532 yards, but the first half was a struggle. Georgia rushed 14 times for just 35 yards, and Lambert sustained a third-down sack in the second quarter of a 17-6 game.
DEFENSIVE LINE
Although they suffered a second-quarter hiccup, the defensive linemen helped limit Southern to 24 second-half rushing yards on 19 carries. Trenton Thompson came off the bench to tally five tackles.
LINEBACKERS
Tim Kimbrough had five tackles and a tackle for loss as the Bulldogs held the Jaguars to 184 total yards. An offside penalty on Jordan Jenkins nullified a Sterling Bailey interception.
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Quincy Mauger collected five tackles, while Dominick Sanders and Malkom Parrish each had tackles for loss. Southern threw for just 79 yards, including a measly 10 in the second half.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Parrish blocked an early punt and Marshall Morgan made both field-goal attempts, but Collin Barber’s one punt traveled 24 yards. The Bulldogs were tepid on both punt and kickoff returns.
COACHING
Considering the resounding win over South Carolina and this week’s visit from Alabama, finding motivation for the Jaguars could not have been easy. Other than the second quarter, the Bulldogs cruised.
