Mad, Bad & Dangerous
Girls Preparatory School sponsors entrepreneurial weekend for women
Have a great idea for a product, but you’re unsure how to get started? Do you have a new product or business, but you don’t know how to pitch it? Or maybe you’ve made it through the start- up phase and now you wonder how to help the new business continue to grow and thrive.
All these topics will be covered at the second entrepreneurial weekend for women sponsored by Girls Preparatory School on Saturday, March 12, at the school.
Mad, Bad & Dangerous is a free day of informational sessions and one-toone opportunities to talk to a professional. They are divided into three tracks for female business owners: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Additionally, there will be a marketplace with more than 50 female-owned businesses that focus on women’s products and services.
Autumn Graves, Girls Preparatory School headmaster, will welcome guests at 9 a.m., when the marketplace will open. The first session gets underway at 10 a.m. Lunch break will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a variety of food trucks will be on-site at GPS for participants’ convenience.
Mad, Bad & Dangerous weekend opens Friday, March 11, with a luncheon featuring inventor Lori Greiner, a “Shark Tank” investor and QVC regular. Seating is limited for her presentation.
