Donald Hall

PISGAH — Donald G. Hall, 63, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2016.

Funeral services will be today, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. from Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home Inc. directing.

Visitation is today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Janice Howell

HENAGAR — Janice Howell Gass, 72, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services are today at 3 p.m. CDT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery.

Family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until service time.

Survivors include sons, Charles Gass (Gail), Jason Gass (Stacey); grandchildren, A. J. Gass, Megan Smith, Jessica Ferguson (Justin), D. J. Higgins (Hayleigh), Marty Gass; great-grandchildren, Keira, Teira and Marley Higgins; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gass was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and worked as a substitute teacher for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Crow Howell; husband, Jimmy Gass; sister, Frances Stallings; brothers, Glen and James Howell.
