Man shot in hand

A 35-year-old man was shot in the hand Saturday night but Chattanooga police aren’t sure where the crime happened.

The call came in at 11:07 for the 7200 block of Shallowford Road, according to a police news release.

Alfred Coppage, 35, was taken to the hospital with wounds not thought to be life-threatening.

Police said the incident didn’t occur at the location the call came from, and they’re not sure if the shooting even happened in Chattanooga. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 423-698-2525.
