Call leads to drug arrest
A 911 caller’s concern about a person vomiting near his car led Marietta police to two alleged drug dealers.
Police received a 911 call Thursday reporting a man sitting in a car on Atlanta Street and vomiting. Officers arrived and saw Alex Leon-Colberg and Micheal Vliek sitting in a car in a parking lot.
Vliek ran to another vehicle and drove off. Leon-Colberg told police he was there to pick up a friend after work. He let officers search his car, which had several drugs and a gun inside.
He was arrested and faces multiple drug charges. Police also charged him with obstruction of law enforcement.
