Harrison, Kapperman join Chambliss firm
Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. has brought on Peter Harrison and Cameron Kapperman to expand its estate planning and tax practice. Both attorneys practice in the estate planning area. Harrison puts extra effort toward counseling clients in elder law and special needs planning, while the majority of Kapperman’s work is in estate administration.
› Harrison relocated to Chattanooga last fall after building his estate planning practice for several years in Connecticut. He holds an L.L.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center where he also received his certificate in estate planning. Harrison graduated from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of the South. He serves on the board for the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council.
› Kapperman is a Chattanooga native who returned to join Chambliss after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2016. He previously graduated from Berry College. During law school, Kapperman was published for his commentary on wills and estates for The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, and he was awarded for the areas of advanced appellate advocacy, advanced trial practice, advanced legal research, civil pretrial litigation, immigration law, civil procedure and legal process. He has been admitted to practice in Tennessee and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
“We are pleased to have Peter and Cameron on the Chambliss team,” said Greg Willett, chair of the estate and tax section at Chambliss. “Both bring a refreshing enthusiasm for serving our clients and catering to their unique needs, whether it involves estate administration, benefits planning or any other matter our estate, elder law and special needs clients may have.”
