Gibson new manager at Cloudland Canyon
Brad Gibson, a 20-year veteran of park management, has been named manager of the 3,488-acre Cloudland Canyon State Park by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Gibson is a native of Miami and has more than 20 years of experience in park management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida International University, holds multiple American Red Cross instructor certifications, and is a certified Parks and Recreation Professional from the National Recreation and Parks Association. Gibson lives on the park with his wife, Krista, and son, Grey.
“Krista, lived on Lookout Mountain for several years before we met, married and lived in the Atlanta area, so we are thankful to be back in Dade County,” Gibson said.
