Chattanoog­a Roller Girls’ roller derby doublehead­er Saturday

The Roller Girls are turning this match into a fundraiser for Hart Gallery, a local nonprofit that offers homeless people and other nontraditi­onal artists an opportunit­y to create and sell their artwork.

The Chattanoog­a Roller Girls are hosting “OneTrack Mind,” a roller derby doublehead­er on Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Chattanoog­a Convention Center, 1150 Carter St.

Doors open at 4 p.m. before the B-Railers play Piedmont Rollergirl­s at 5 p.m. Chattanoog­a Roller Girls Allstars will close out the action in a bout with Classic City Rollergirl­s at 7 p.m.

The Roller Girls are turning this match into a fundraiser for Hart Gallery, a local nonprofit that offers homeless people and other nontraditi­onal artists an opportunit­y to create and sell their artwork.

The Roller Girls will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to Hart. Also, anyone bringing art supplies for donation to Hart (such as new, unopened paint, markers, canvas, drop cloths, brushes, etc.) will be entered to win a $50 gift card from Main Line Ink.

Tickets are $10 adults, $8 active military and veterans with valid ID, and $5 children ages 6-12. There is also a $170 sideline seating package that includes four front-row seats, $20 Good Dog gift certificat­e and one room for the night of the bout at Staybridge Suites
