Parkridge to fill more than 100 nursing and tech positions at job fair

- STAFF REPORT

Parkridge Medical Center is looking to fill more than 100 nursing and patient tech positions at its Chattanooga hospitals during a job fair next Wednesday.

The job fair is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the Parkridge Medical Center Diagnostic Center, which is located at 2205 McCallie Ave. During the event, Parkridge recruiters will be looking to fill jobs at Parkridge’s main hospital on McCallie Avenue and its affiliate hospitals, both Parkridge East Hospital in East Ridge and Parkridge Valley Hospital on Morris Hill Road.

“We are excited to bring this career opportunity to experienced RNs and experienced or new patient techs,” said Deborah Deal, Parkridge Health System chief nurse executive. “We encourage nurses and techs to think about where they are currently in their careers, where they’d like to be, then have a discussion with us on how we can possibly help them get there.”

Deal said over 100 career opportunities for nurses, medical and mental health care techs are available immediately, with more anticipated in the future because of planned growth of Parkridge, which is owned by Hospital Corp. of America. Qualified applicants may also be eligible for sign-on bonuses as well as same-day interviews and employment offers.

“We feel our nursing culture appeals to those nurses who get career satisfaction from providing evidence-based, individualized and personal patient care,” Deal said.

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to Parkridge. JoinHCA.com and bring updated resumes to the event.
