NEW Holiday MENU AT EL MESON

-

The holidays have arrived early at El Meson, Chattanooga’s favorite family-owned, family-friendly rollicking Mexican restaurant. This month, both delicious El Meson locations are unwrapping a new menu featuring a bevy of fresh eats.

Perfect for the cooler temperatures, the restaurant’s hearty entrees now include more meats, from grilled chicken to spicy steak to jumbo shrimp, which are featured in the new camarones ancho and chorizo platter. Feeling indulgent? Why not sample the new lobster tacos, equal parts filling and decadent.

Even the richness of those lobster tacos is no match for El Meson’s new dessert: tres leches cake. The literal transition of this truly dreamy dessert and authentic Spanish confection is “three milk cake.” Spongy, creamy and sweet, the tres leches cake was previously only available during El Meson’s brunch buffet, Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but due to popular demand the cake is now on the new everyday menu.

After all, El Meson knows the foundation of a good time is good food. Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., diners on lunch break can expedite that fun by ordering the restaurant’s $6 “rapido combo,” which comes with one beef enchilada, one beef taco, rice, beans and a soft drink. On Saturday and Sunday, customers may return for college and NFL football games served with a side of rotating drink specials.

Between its fresh eats, its new sweet and its front row seating to all the big games, every day feels like a holiday at El Meson.
