PeeWee Moore at home for Revelry Room show
Born and raised in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., PeeWee Moore spent most of his time haunting the streets of Chattanooga, playing many of his first shows here.
He’s spent the last 10 years on the highway running coast to coast, touring on average more than 45,000 miles a year in an endless string of one-night stands at honkytonks, dance halls, festivals and theaters.
After moving to Austin, Texas, in 2010, and staying long enough to make the contacts necessary to gain a foothold in the Austin music scene, he moved back to Tennessee, landing in the mountains between Chattanooga and Nashville.
Saturday night, Nov. 25, Moore returns to the city where his career began when he plays a show in Revelry Room at 9 p.m.
With the gift of raw talent, combined with showmanship, Moore has been able to share the stage with several of his heroes, as well as some of outlaw country, Americana and rockabilly’s most wellknown acts. These include Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, David Allen Coe, Ralph Stanley, Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Steve Earle, Shooter Jennings and Junior Brown.
His music is broadcast on Sirius/XM radio’s Outlaw Country channel as well as 1,000 AM and FM stations, internet radio and podcasts worldwide. Moore has nine original recordings featured in the upcoming Hollywood film, “Buckshot, The Movie,” due out in early 2018.
