IHOP is flipping free pancakes today
Flapjacks aren’t just for breakfast. Today, five local IHOP restaurants will be flipping free flapjacks from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (or later) to benefit the health of kids in the area.
On National Pancake Day, IHOP guests receive a free short stack of the brand’s original buttermilk pancakes. In return, guests are asked to leave a donation of any size, with all funds collected in the Chattanooga region going to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.
“Last year, our local IHOP locations raised more than $10,000 for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger,” said Rebecca Brinkley, director of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. “We are so appreciative of their hard work and continued support as we focus on raising funds for the first phase of our new Children’s Hospital.” The participating IHOP restaurants are at:
› 5814 Brainerd Road in Chattanooga.
› 5113 Highway 153 in Hixson.
› 2047 Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
› 1510 Walnut Ave. in Dalton, Ga.
› 4323 Freedom Parkway NW in Cleveland, Tenn. “For 60 years, IHOP and our franchisees have made it our mission to support the communities we serve. IHOP National Pancake Day is our declaration to pancake lovers everywhere that we are committed to giving back in meaningful ways,” said Darren Rebelez, president of IHOP. Every stack of pancakes we serve on our signature day counts towards helping our charity partners improve the health and lives of millions of children and families across the country.”
