Net Zero homes continue momentum in North Shore
The NorthShore of Chattanooga remains a highly sought after place to live, work, and play. As the communities there continue to grow, so do the trends of Net Zero Energy homes and many are starting from the ground up, according to local Realtor and specialist Grace Frank with the Grace Frank Group of Real Estate Partners. “We currently have 7-14 new homes coming up in North Shore,” Frank shared. Her team is working with Goodwin Southern Property, the builder and developer of the newest Net Zero Energy homes, who is actively consulting with Green Spaces on the projects. Frank also added that these types of homes and communities offer buyers incredible benefits including excellent appreciation, significant reduction in utility bills, and more sustainable features, just to name a few. “Families can also expect better design features to reduce allergies,” Frank said. When asked to describe the homes using a word of phrase, Frank said it’s “the new generation of construction,” due to the quality work and improved lifestyles that they create not just for the families that live there, but also for the area and community as a whole. “The Net Zero project by Green Spaces was intended to encourage and demonstrate how to build extremely energy efficient homes at normal construction costs, creating a even better product,” Frank explained. “Goodwin Southern Property is using this experience and the knowledge from Green Spaces to build 14 additional Net Zero Energy Homes in the community.” Also, if buyers are looking to customize and give their own personal touch to a New Zero Energy home, Frank said there are many lots to select from that can be tailored along with the help of Goodwin Southern Property’s designer Jenn Smith. Frank will be hosting an open house event is Sunday, April 8 from 2-4 p.m. at 1396 Hamilton Ave, Chattanooga TN 37404, so make a plan to drop by and ask her more about green construction.
