Veale joins Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in Cleveland
The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is growing its Cleveland, Tennessee practice with the addition of Dr. Michael Veale, who is a board certified general orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Veale joins the Cleveland office from the Chattanooga practice, where he came onboard in 2018.
Dr. Veale has practiced general orthopaedics since 2005 including arthroscopy, total joint arthroplasty, trauma and hand/upper extremity surgery. He will join Dr. Jason Spangler and Dr. Todd Grebner, who practice at the Cleveland facility and share a wide range of expertise. Their practice offers services spanning all orthopaedic related injuries and needs, on-site digital imaging and physical therapy.
“Since opening our Cleveland office, we’ve continued to deliver excellent orthopaedic specialty care and physical therapy in the area, and Dr. Veale will extend the range of services we provide to patients,” said Becky Farmer, CEO of Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics. “Bradley County has welcomed us with strong support, and I know Dr. Veale’s professional and helpful attitude will be well received by his patients and the community.”
Dr. Veale holds a graduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he also completed a preliminary year of general surgery before finishing his training with an orthopaedic residency at West Virginia University. During his residency, he met Dr. Chad Smalley and Dr. Matt Buchanan, who recruited him to the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics. Dr. Veale is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
