On politics, move forward, not back

I am sickened about the abortion bills that were passed in New York and attempted in the state of Virginia. But I am really tired of these people who go back 20 or 30 years to dig up dirt on people such as judges up for confirmation hearings and the governor or Virginia.

How many of us have things in our past when we were stupid and immature that we may regret? Let them cast the first stone. We need to move forward, not backward. What would Cory Booker or Kamala Harris have in their background that needs to be exposed? Get over it.

Bernie Sanders making merry with Communists — now that’s collusion. Of course, it is hard to move forward if you are constantly looking backward.

My letter may not be published, but ones running down the Republicans and Donald Trump always are. You definitely have some “winners” running for the Democratic nomination, especially the bartender turned senator. Mona Lovelady
