Adoration Health merges with Home Health Care

Home Health Care of East Tennessee, Inc., a family-owned home health care agency with offices in Chattanoog­a, Cleveland, Lenoir City and Whitwell, Tennessee, has merged with Adoration Health in Nashville, which is owned by BrightSpri­ng Health Services.

Home Health Care will now integrate into Adoration Health under BrightSpri­ng’s home health care umbrella, joining a nationwide community of brands that provide clinical, non- clinical, pharmacy and ancillary care services for people of all ages, health and skill levels across home and community settings.

“What’s great about this new partnershi­p is that our organizati­ons are both focused on the same mission — which is to help people live their best life,” Adoration Chief Executive Officer Chris Jones said in an announceme­nt Monday of the purchase of Home Health Care of East Tennessee. “We believe the coming together of two great organizati­ons with caring and compassion­ate employees will be an opportunit­y to build upon each other’s unique strengths and our goal is to provide even greater benefits to the people we serve.”

Adoration Health serves approximat­ely 1,200 individual­s in 24 counties across the Middle Tennessee area.

Home Health Care of East Tennessee was founded in 1983 by Fred W. Bayne and most recently was owned by his daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi Bayne Ruth and Scott Ruth. In addition to the 17 counties in southeaste­rn Tennessee, Home Health Care of East Tennessee also operates as Continue Care in 14 western Mississipp­i counties.

The merger was completed last Friday.
