The Georgia Bulldogs may be a little low on quantity right now in terms of football commitments for the 2020 recruiting cycle, but they are sky-high on quality.

Georgia received a nonbinding pledge Monday afternoon from Jalen Carter, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle from Apopka, Florida. Carter is the No. 10 defensive tackle nationally and the No. 95 recruit overall, according to the 247Sports. com composite rankings.

“I am 100% committed to the University of Georgia,” Carter posted on Twitter.

Carter is Georgia’s 10th commitment for 2020 and the fifth from a top-100 player, joining outside linebacker Mekhail Sherman (No. 11) of Washington, D.C., offensive tackle Broderick Jones ( No. 20) from the Atlanta suburb of Lithonia, offensive tackle Tate Ratledge (No. 39) of Rome and quarterback Carson Beck (No. 75) of Jacksonville.
