Chattanooga police ask public’s help to solve 2016 double homicide
The Chattanooga Police Department and cold case unit, along with the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office, are turning to the public for information about a 2016 double homicide, according to a news release from the DA’s office.
Chattanooga police found George Dillard and Lakita Hicks shot to death inside a home on the 2100 block of East 13th Street on Jan. 31, 2016. A young boy there had called 911 and said his parents had been shot and killed and he needed help.
Investigators have recently obtained information pointing them toward a potential suspect, but help is still needed from the community to solve the case, the release states. Officials did not state what information they obtained or publicly identify a person of interest.
