Wall Street expects another downbeat quarterly report card from Kansas City Southern.

Analysts predict the freight railroad will today report lower third- quarter earnings and revenue than a year earlier. That would echo the company’s results in the second quarter. Like other railroads, Kansas City Southern has struggled amid a sharp decline in shipping volume due to the pandemic.
