Industrial production has been increasing as U.S. factories come back to life after many shut down in the spring due to the pandemic.

Still, the recent gains have been weaker than the strong rebound recorded earlier this summer. Industrial production rose a modest 0.4% in August. That followed increases of 3.5% in July and 6.1% in June. Did the trend continue last month? Find out today, when the Federal Reserve issues its September tally of industrial production.
