Bishop joins WWTA as Lakeside representative
Bobby Bishop was recently appointed to serve as the Lakesite representative on the Hamilton
County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority.
Bishop is a 23-year veteran of Davron Technolgies Inc., where he serves as office manager. He has an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State Community College and earned his bachelor’s in business from Bryan College.
“We are excited to welcome Bobby to the WWTA board of commissioners,” said Dick Gee, board chairman of the WWTA. “He brings new insights and enthusiasm to this appointment, and we look forward to working with him.” who require transplants and provides expertise prior to and after a transplant procedure.
“I’ve worked with Dr. Parsa for many years and he is a superb physician and colleague,” said Erlanger Chief of Gastroenterology, Dr. Arslan Kahloon. “We’re very fortunate to have his level of transplant hepatology expertise here at Erlanger. As the only board-certified transplant hepatologist in the region, providing this type of advanced care locally is a great benefit to the community and our patients.”
Parsa received bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees from NTR University of Health Sciences in India. Following medical school, he completed an internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. Parsa received his gastroenterology, hepatology and transplant hepatology fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis.
