SimplyBank names five new directing officers
SimplyBank has named five new directing officers as the Dayton, Tennessee-based bank expands into new markets and services this year.
Anthony Lastoria, named directing retail officer, oversees all retail delivery and personnel. He joined the team at SimplyBank in June 2020 as senior retail officer. Immediately prior to joining the team at SimplyBank, he spent four years with First Horizon Bank, most recently serving as vice president of retail banking in the Chattanooga market.
Candace Colvard, directing financial officer, oversees all financial reporting, deposit operations and treasury management. She joined the SimplyBank team in November 2018, as corporate controller. Colvard previously served as controller at Mountain Valley Bank in Dunlap, Tennessee, for three years.
Blake Swafford, directing IT and innovation officer, oversees technology, risk management and innovation. Swafford has been part of the SimplyBank team for nearly a decade, in which time he has worked in various departments in the bank, including operations, credit, risk management and technology. In 2020, in recognition of his contributions to the field of innovation, he was nationally recognized by Independent Community Bankers of America as a “Top 40 under 40” community banker.
Patrick Childs, directing project management officer, leads SimplyBank project management initiatives, plays a key role in driving strategic plans and focuses on technological innovation. He joined the team at SimplyBank in October 2020 after working in the transportation, logistics, and freight brokerage space.
Rachel Matousek, directing credit officer, oversees underwriting and credit administration. She joined SimplyBank in December 2020 after nearly four years with First Horizon Bank, most recently serving as a senior portfolio manager. She also brings nearly 14 years of experience in various wealth management and commercial credit roles at BB&T.
