Judith Ann Henry, 78, of Chattanoog­a, TN died July 2, 2021 at Life Care Center of Athens, TN.

She was born May 15, 1943 in Pine Bluff, AR, the daughter of John Hudson Henry and Ella Thweatt Henry. Judy graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1961 and Ouachita Baptist 8niversity in 1964.

Judy earned Master’s degrees in mathematic­s, chemistry, and physics. She did research at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN., and taught elementary school and high school in different states. In the summers spread the gospel through Operation Mobilizati­on. Her story led her back to the states to Precept Ministries, Chattanoog­a, TN. She was hired as an accountant but they discovered she had a heart for counseling. She served Precept Ministries as a prayer counselor for 30 years, bringing healing and Moy to other’s stories and in the process, enriching her own.

She is survived by sisters, Carolyn Henry Elms (Mac), Pine Bluff, AR, Betty Fain (Randy), Pearland, TX, and Evelyn Wheeler, Chattanoog­a, TN, and a brother, John Henry, Jr (Gwen), White Hall, AR; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
