The Peach Truck, a Nashville-based business that delivers peaches fresh from a Georgia farm to several other states, sold out its first deliveries to Chattanoog­a back in June, but the truck will be back next Sunday, July 18, with 25-pound

boxes of peaches and 10-ounce bags of pecans available. You can choose from three times and stops: 8:30-10 a.m. at Tractor Supply Co., 1785 Battlefiel­d Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe; noon-1:30 p.m. at Hamilton Place, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd.; or 3:30-5 p.m. at Vinterest Antiques, 2015 Northpoint Blvd. in Hixson. › Scopes Trial: “How It Started,” a play that details the historic 1925 Scopes Trial in Dayton, Tennessee, will be staged next weekend in the courtroom where the case was heard. The one-act play by Cara J. Clark weaves portions of the trial transcript, historical records and stories from the trial into a tale meant to show how the trial is still relevant. Performanc­es are scheduled at 1 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at the Rhea County Courthouse, 1475 Market St. A free bluegrass festival (10 a.m.-8 p.m.) will coincide with the Saturday performanc­es.
