Bettie Stuve

Bettie Stines Stuve, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Bettie was born on April 12, 1946, to Lucille Atkins and Bill Stines in Chattanooga, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alexander Stuve; and sister, Joann Stines.

Betty was a graduate of Kirkman High School, worked for Diagnostic Hospital and later moved to Lenoir City, TN where she was the owner of a greenhouse and flower shop, Bettie’s Bolssums. Bettie retired back to Chattanooga, TN as a resident at East Ridge retirement.

Bettie leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Brian (Tiffany) Woods of Ooltewah, TN; stepsons, David (Juli) Stuve of Dayton,Ohio, Eric (Monkia) Stuve of Seattle, WA, Tom (Nancy) Stuve of Fort Collins, CO, John Stuve of Indianapolis, IN, Matt (Laurie) Stuve of Muncie, IN; stepdaughter Amy (Tom) Hansel of Madison WI; sister, Jeanie Dill of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Lee (Rhonda) Atkins of Chattanooga, TN; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 16, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeannie Luallen officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2021 in National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the special care given to Bettie.
