Wall Street expects United Airlines’ latest quarterly snapshot will show improved results from a year earlier.

Analysts predict the company will report today that it narrowed its loss in the second quarter. United said in April that bookings had increased ahead of the peak summer U.S. vacation season. Still, the airline depends on internatio­nal and high-fare business travel, which have been slow to

recover due to the pandemic.
