Vicki Johnson

DUNLAP - Vicki Jane Johnson, age 79 passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born on June 1, 1942 to George and Geraldine Skelly in Washington, D.C.

Vicki grew up in Houston, TX. She resided in Dunlap, TN and was a member of Dunlap First Baptist Church. She was a retired home maker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Vicki was married to Bobby Joe Johnson in 1978 in Rossville, GA. They were happily married for 38 years. Vicki was an avid bowler for many years. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her family.

Vicki is survived by her children Dana Black of Hahira, GA, Kathy Waters (Clifford of Cleveland, TN, Andy Borup (Tudy) of Dayton, TN, Brenda Layne (Dude) of Dunlap, TN, and Darrell Johnson of Dunlap, TN. Her grandchildren are Charlotte Black and Katie Squardo (Johnny), Jessica Garcia, Lauren Forgey

(Adam), Gerald Waters, Kelly Pryor (Sarah), Mark Pryor (Lisa), Chad Johnson, Casey Johnson. Vicki’s great-grandchildren are Cameron and Jaylee Garcia, Greyson and Graham Forgey, Haley Hayne, Garen Pryor, Cameron and Sophie. Vicki is also survived by her brother Joe Skelly (Agnes) of Colorado.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents George and Geraldine Skelly, her husband Bobby Joe Johnson and her sons Joey McDaniel and Charles Borup.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center with burial to follow in Rankin Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 PM to

8:00 PM.
