since 9-11: “Since 9-11, I have a new appreciation for our country and our people. So many issues that used to occupy my thoughts last year have paled into trivial distractions. I appreciate more than ever living in a country that works hard to strive for freedom and human rights. I believe most Americans like me have a new appreciation for things we once took for granted.”
