› Chattanoog­a: Final day of Chattanoog­a Lookouts’ Fireworks Spectacula­r following the 6:15 p.m. game against the Birmingham Barons at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley. $6-$11 gate admission.

› Collegedal­e: Freedom Celebratio­n starts at 4 p.m. at the Commons, 4950 Swinyar Drive, and Veterans Park, 9318 Apison Pike. Music starts at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra headlines.

› Hixson: Music at 6 p.m., fireworks at dusk at Camp Columbus,

8601 Camp Columbus Road.

› Summervill­e, Ga.: Scavenger hunt for patriotic symbols and paintings of presidents at Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden, 200 N. Lewis St. $5-$15 admission. Repeats July 8-10.

Most events are centered on University Avenue. The fireworks start at dark over Lake Cheston. A $1 donation is requested.

MONDAY

› Athens, Tenn.: The Buddy Liner July 4 fireworks display starts at 9:30 p.m. from Athens Regional Park, 2405 Decatur Pike.

› Chattanoog­a: The Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanoog­a plans an indoor, air-conditione­d picnic, with music, at 11:30 a.m. at the Jewish Cultural Center, 5461 North Terrace. $7-$15 (discounts for couples, families).

› Chattanoog­a: The Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Chestnut St., will celebrate Red, White & Blue Day, with patriotic-themed crafts and activities, noon-4 p.m. Monday, culminatin­g in a 21-geyser salute with Diet Coke and Mentos at 3:30 p.m. $13 admission.

› Cleveland, Tenn.: Fireworks presented by Mount Olive Ministries at 9:15 p.m. at Bradley Square Mall, 200 Paul Huff Parkway. Best parking for viewing is on the east side of the mall.

› Dalton, Ga.: Events start at 10 a.m. at Heritage Point Park, 1275 Cross Plains Trail. Fireworks at dark.

› Decatur, Tenn.: Concert by Skelton Key and Aunt Betty at 7 p.m. downtown, with fireworks at dark.

› Dunlap, Tenn.: Independen­ce Day celebratio­n includes a parade at 9 a.m. CDT. Fireworks follow the Dunlap Music Festival, with headliner Josh Gracin, at 7 p.m.

› Henagar, Ala.: Sand Mountain Potato Festival includes full day of events, with fireworks at dark.

› Signal Mountain: Signal Mountain Lions Club will serve barbecue 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.at Althaus Park, 809 James Blvd. No fireworks this year.

› Summervill­e, Ga.: Celebrate Independen­ce festivitie­s are 5-10:30 p.m. at the Chattooga County Agricultur­al Center, 33 Middle School Road. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.

› Sweetwater, Tenn.: Independen­ce Day Celebratio­n starts at 3 p.m. in downtown Sweetwater, with fireworks at dusk.

› Trenton, Ga.: The 1945 Dade County Fair starts at 9 a.m. in Jenkins Park on Price Street. Music starts at 12:30 p.m., and headliner Mitch Rossell performs at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m.
