Hozier, Caamp, Goodbye Road (Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors and Johnnyswim), Nickel Creek, Marcus King Band, Judah & the Lion and First Aid Kit will be the leading acts on the 2023 Moon River Music Festival lineup, it was announced Tuesday.

Other acts on the list are Noah Cyrus, Larry Fleet, Houndmouth, Larkin Poe, Shane Smith & The Saints, Wilder Woods, Aoife O’Donovan, The 502s, The Dip, Son Little, flipturn, S.G. Goodman, Sunny War, Richy Mitch & The Coalminers and Kaitlin Butts.

The festival is presented by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. Holcomb cofounded the event in 2014 in Memphis and moved it to Chattanooga in 2018 after partnering with AC Entertainment of Knoxville to produce the event. AC is now owned by Live Nation, which also owns C3 Presents, which now produces the event, as it does for others such as the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

It will be held Sept. 9-10 in Coolidge Park on the banks of the Tennessee River. Caamp, which had a big hit with “Vagabond,” will headline the Saturday schedule, while Hozier, best known for the hit “Take Me to the Church” from 2016, will headline Sunday.

Tickets, including one- and two-day general admission wristbands and VIP passes, will be available via presale beginning at noon Thursday with a general on-sale to follow for any remaining tickets. They are available at moonriverfestival.com.

VIP tickets will include a premium festival entrance, VIP viewing areas at each stage, exclusive bar access, unlimited access to the VIP lounge with seating and airconditioned bathrooms, a dedicated VIP concierge to assist with all festival needs and a special commemorative poster.

Returning in 2023 are Moon River Music Festival’s experiences, including The Treehouse and Lookout Lodge. More details on each will be revealed in the coming months, according to a news release.

Founded in 2014, Moon River Music Festival will see its eighth installment in 2023 and the fifth in Chattanooga after expanding from its original home at the historic Levitt Shell in Memphis.

Past performers in Chattanooga have included Brandi Carlile, The Avett Brothers, The National, Wilco, Lord Huron, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and the Head and the Heart. Holcomb has told the Chattanooga Times Free Press in past interviews that his goal was for the event to become a community event through local and state-level nonprofit partnerships. This year, for example, Moon River is again donating a portion of each ticket to Friends of Outdoor Chattanooga and St. Jude Children’s Hospital of Tennessee.
