Ann Keasler, 84, passed away on October 20, 2023 while residing at Martin Boyd Christian Center.

“Nana” loved being a wife, mother, grandmothe­r and greatgrand­mother. She recently shared that she “loved her family more than life itself”. Nana loved entertaini­ng and spending time with those that had become her friends over the years. She especially loved the time with her family and prioritize­d being at any and all functions, events and games that she could attend.

She was born in Memphis, TN to the late Johnnie and Pauline Brewer.

She graduated from Germantown High School and Memphis State University with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and taught in both Cookeville, TN and Chattanoog­a, TN. She most recently attended White Oak and Mountain Creek Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick William Keasler, two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by sons Jeff (Sheila) Keasler, Chris (Cindy) Keasler and daughter Kara (Justin) Fortune; grandchild­ren Taylor (Matthew) Reed, Ross (Sarah) Keasler, Allie (Joseph) Teal, Caroline Fortune and Addie Fortune; great-grandchild­ren Emerson (Emmie) Teal, Brooks Keasler, Elizabeth (Ellie) Teal, and Crosby Reed.

The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday October 29, 2023 at White Oak Church of Christ, 2229 Lyndon Avenue, Chattanoog­a, TN 37415 followed by a celebratio­n of her life at the church.

She donated her body for scientific and medical research to the University of Tennessee Anthropolo­gy Department. For a personal remembranc­e of Nana, the family ask that you plant a flower or feed a bird, as she loved to nurture them both.
