HHM adds new managers
HHM Certified Public Accountants, a full-service accounting and consulting firm with locations in Chattanooga, Cleveland and Memphis, has hired Joel Freund as a director in its advisory services group; Carol Moseley and Jennifer Fryar as senior managers in its tax department; and Jon Finlay and Fatima Bracamonte as manager and senior accountant, respectively, in its audit department.
“We are excited to announce the addition of several management level professionals to our team at HHM CPAs,” Donnie Hutcherson, the firm’s managing parnter, said in an announcement of the new hires. “These individuals bring a wealth of experience to our firm and will strengthen each of our core service departments.”
Freund joins the firm as director in the Chattanooga office. He brings over 27 years of experience to the firm, previously working in several roles for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Freund obtained his master’s in taxation from the University of Central Florida and his bachelor’s in science in accounting from Auburn University. As director in the advisory services group, he will provide forensic support, valuation and litigation support, fraud and financial fraud support, forecast and financial modeling, and tax strategy to clients in a variety of industries.
Moseley, a CPA, joins the firm as a senior tax manager in the Chattanooga office. She will provide tax planning and tax strategy to a variety of clients. With a longtime career in accounting, she started out as an auditor-in-charge within the construction industry and nonprofit world, then switched to a focus on tax services. She is a graduate of Georgia State University.
Fryar returns to HHM as a senior tax manager in the Chattanooga office. She will provide strategic tax planning and preparation to clients. She is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.
Finlay, a CPA, joins the Chattanooga office as audit manager. He will provide assurance and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries as well as provide employee benefits plan assurance services. He has five years in public accounting experience and two years of private industry accounting experience. Finlay is a graduate of Lee University.
Bracamonte joins the firm as an audit senior accountant in the Memphis office. She will work with the assurance team on audits, reviews, compilations and will prepare financial statements for individuals and entities. Bracamonte spent three years at a top 50 accounting firm working in the construction department. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
HHM CPAs is the third largest public accounting firm in Tennessee and a Top 100 Accounting Firm by Inside Public Accounting.
Green joins Todd Henon Properties
Jenny Green, a Baylor faculty member and coach for 25 years, has joined Todd Henon Properties as a real estate agent licensed in Tennessee and Georgia.
A veteran of the housing industry, Green co-founded Matt Green Construction, which is in its 20th year of serving Greater Chattanooga.
She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a collegiate athlete and coach.
Setterlund named partner in law firm
Chattanooga attorney Eric Setterlund is one of 12 attorneys who have become partners in the law firm of
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.
Setterlund serves as co-chair of Bradley’s cybersecurity and privacy practice group and has extensive experience with matters related to privacy, security protections and regulatory compliance. He served as the chief privacy officer and privacy and data counsel for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and regularly counsels clients through significant changes in privacy and data use laws.
Setterlund is a certified privacy professional by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He earned his law degree from the University of Memphis School of Law.
Walker joins Branch Technology
Noah Walker has joined Branch Technology as senior manufacturing engineer.
Walker previously worked at Volkswagen of America Inc., where he was manager of assembly and electronic planning. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technology University.
