David Finchum

David Wayne Finchum, 55 of Tunnel Hill, GA formerly of Sevierville, TN, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.

David served his country for 29 years in the US Army. He was an avid camper and motorcyclist. He enjoyed spending time watching NASCAR, fishing, and gaming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Finchum; daughter, Helen Finchum; and brother, Wesley Finchum.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Gail Finchum; daughter, Kristen Finchum; son, Kevin Finchum (Mary); grandchildren, Jocelyn Waters, Katrina Finchum, and Lincoln Finchum; sisters, Debbie Broyhill and Pam Williams; adopted grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-7PM Monday, March 11, 2024, in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville for 11AM funeral service with Rev. Tony Sutton officiating. Following the service family and friends will leave in procession to Allen Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Military honors provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard.
