David Reeves

After a long fight to stay on this earth, David Carter Reeves, Jr., 48, lost his courageous fight and now resides in his forever home with the Lord. He was born in Chattanoog­a and was raised in the Kennesaw and Acworth areas. David graduated from Harrison High School and went on to the Merchant Marine Academy (Kingspoint) Great Neck, New York where he graduated 2nd Lieutenant with the Navy reserves, Class of 1997.

He was a man with a big heart, funny and could “fit in” anywhere. David had incredible leadership skills but most of all was a very present husband and father to his wife and 4 children. He was a friend to all. He found a special camaraderi­e with his classmates at USMMA that will always be cherished by his family.

David is preceded in death by grandparen­ts, Robert and Penelope Butler, Fort Oglethorpe, GA; John and Estille Reeves, Rossville, GA; family members, Arnold Baker and Donald Frachiseur.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brandi Reeves; children, Dylan, Sophia, Addison, and Finley; parents, David Carter (Jane) Reeves, Sr. and Kathy Baker; siblings, Whitney Baker, Stacey (Frank) Fuleki, Jenny (Tim) Sydnes, Tim (Angie) Cochran and Marc (Becky) Cochran; aunts and uncles, Kelly (Steve) Still, Bobby (Wanda) Butler, Billy Butler, and Darrell Reeves; mother in law, Wanda Frachiseur; sister in law, Amanda Segars; brother in law, Josh (Kit) Frachiseur; looked up to as a role model by many nieces and nephews; and loved by many cousins and other extended family members.

All arrangemen­ts have been made by Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel in Rossville, GA. A Celebratio­n of Life will

be held at a later date.
