Area alumnae, parents of current students, current students, and former and current faculty and staff of Judson College will be venturing to the Marion-based campus to celebrate J-Day 2017 this coming Friday and Saturday.

On Friday night, the class of 1967 will be honored and inducted into the Golden Club — which signifies the 50th anniversary of the class’ graduation.

Saturday’s events will include the recognition of outstanding alumnae, a state of the college address by President David Potts, a business meeting, a special luncheon, and the traditional stepsing with students and alumnae singing the songs known by generations of Judson students. (Judson was founded in 1838 — thus there are many meaningful traditions celebrated on the campus).

Reservations for each of the events may be made by telephoning the alumnae office — 334683-5109 or 334-683-5167.

On Saturday, Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law will be saluting graduates of 50 years ago and more. A breakfast and fellowship time — complete with sharing of memories — will be the order of the morning. Reservations may be made by telephoning the Cumberland alumni office.
