Sum­mer pro­grams set for Canyon Mouth

Join Lit­tle River Canyon Na­tional Pre­serve Staff for the Sum­mer Satur­day Pro­grams at Canyon Mouth at 10:30 a.m. Th­ese pro­grams are free, how­ever the three dol­lar fee per ve­hi­cle at the gate will still ap­ply.

Come out to learn Wa­ter Safety on Satur­day. June 24 is a chil­dren’s pro­gram about the Green Pitcher and iNat­u­ral­ist In­sect Day. Fred the Fish chil­dren’s ac­tiv­ity is on July 1. A Na­tive Amer­i­can Tools and weapons demon­stra­tion is on July 9. Th­ese pro­grams are part of the free pro­gram­ming of­fered by the park to teach skills and help vis­i­tors en­joy the park safely. For chil­dren’s pro­grams, par­ents must ac­com­pany the chil­dren.
