Kids and Kin group will meet on July 28
Kids and Kin is a program of the Family Guidance Center of Alabama and has recently been expanded Statewide. Kids and Kin is a free support group for Grandparents and other relatives that provide care for their family members children. Throughout the year we the program provides free educational training workshops and support. Kids and Kin meets meet twice a month in a small group setting. In the Summer we offer free children’s activates for relative child care providers and the children they care for. The next meeting is at the Cherokee County Public Library on July 28 at 10 a.m. For more information call Larinda Garrett at 334-465-0099.
What is the Kids and Kin Program?
Kids and Kin is a FREE statewide program to provide support and assistance for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and older siblings who provide child care for their relatives’ children.
What are the benefits of the Kids and Kin Program?
Participants have the opportunity to attend two trainings each month and learn from experts about a wide range of topics in a small supportive group. Annual Provider Recognition Day
PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE:
