The McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club Inc. is sponsoring a festive “From Field to Fork” dinner at the Hopewell Community Center on Saturday, August 19. Club leader Judy Hopper states that the event is to encourage farmers and to show their valuable contributions to American life — and life in the Land of Cherokee!!! Throughout the 4-7 meal service time, there will be musical entertainment and presentations by farmers and other agricultural experts — who will explain new developments in the ag industry and the status of farming operations in this county and surrounding counties.
